Diana Dimanova, born in 1961 in Sofia, studied German language and literature, and Literature. She lives and works as an interpreter and translator in Sofia. In the period from 1989 to 1999 she translated more than ten television films for Bulgarian television. She has also worked as a literary translator since 1999.
Her publications include nine translations of E. M. Remarque, four translations of Lion Feuchtwanger, a translation of Martin Walser and four translations of Hansjörg Schertenleib.
