Eljana Mankollari was born in Korça (Albania) geboren. She studied media, communication, and political studies at the University of Hamburg in Germany. She is currently working as a cultural aide at the Austrian embassy in Tirana. She is a mother of a seven year-old girl and reads children’s literature every day. She believes that art, culture and literature are the best communication bridges between people and nations. She believes that literary translation is very important fort he intercultural exchange.
