International Literature Award 2024

We congratulate Pajtim Statovci and his translator Stefan Moster on winning the International Literature Award 2024 for the novel Meine Katze Jugoslawien (Luchterhand). According to the jury it is ‘a stubborn and important novel, linguistically easily accessible and yet densely packed with all the complexities that human emotions have to offer’.
