At this year’s Frankfurt Book Fair, Angelika Salvisberg (TRADUKI) talks to two translators who both translate Bulgarian literature into German: Alexander Sitzmann, who has translated Georgi Gospodinov’s award-winning novel Time Shelter (Zeitzuflucht) into German, among others, and Boris Kenov, who was a fellow of the Goldschmidt Programme for Literary Translators in 2023. A conversation about the future and the special challenges faced by ‘small’ languages. Afterwards, TRADUKI and the Frankfurt Book Fair invite you to a complementary glass of wine.
