We literally start July with Bookstan Sarajevo (3-6 July), where Darko Cvijetić, Aleksandar Hemon, Selma Raljević, Dušan Šarotar and many other great writers and thinkers will meet! A bit more north you can check out the 13th edition of the International Danube Festival Ulm/Neu-Ulm (5-14 July), where you can catch Barbi Marković, Bojan Savić Ostojić and a coterie of other wonderful authors. Also in Germany this summer: on 18 July Radmila Petrović will be talking about “Writing Class. You Can’t Poet This” at the 25th poesiefestival in Berlin.
Then things will be getting really hot and there will be a bit of a festival break. We are back in mid-August, starting off with poetry: In North Macedonia the 36th edition of the Velestovo Poetry Nights will be held from the 16-18 August.
