International Award for Nikola Madžirov

We’re thrilled to congratulate Nikola Madžirov on receiving the 17th Poetry and People International Poetry Award in Guangzhou, China!

This independent international award has recognized in the past, among others, Hans Magnus Enzensberger, Adam Zagajewski, Tomaž Šalamun, Anne Carson, and Nobel laureates Tomas Tranströmer and Derek Walcott.

Madžirov’s poetry, rooted in the memory and landscapes of the Balkans yet reaching far beyond borders, continues to inspire readers worldwide with its honesty, humanity, and luminous vision.
