The TRADUKI events at the Buch Wien were a great success: at the book fair and at locations in the Viennese old town, Southeast European authors delighted and inspired the audience.
And now? Over and out? Fear not: For another couple of days you can watch the recording of Georgi Gospodinov’s reading at the Literaturhaus Wien in their livestream archive. But more importantly, we still wholeheartedly recommend the books and new releases we presented in Vienna, for example dass nicht (t: Liza Linde, Edition Korrespondenzen), the latest poetry volume by Slovene poet Anja Zag Golob, who was thrilled about the recently published German edition, or Lejla Kalamujić’s Denk dir die Stadt (t: Marie Alpermann, eta Verlag). So get your copies now!
Jelena Popržan played up a storm at the joint event with “meaoiswiamia” Leipzig 2023, which was held at the Schauspielhaus – a miraculous musical revelation to behold. And writers Anna Baar, Mascha Dabić, Marko Dinić and Ana Marwan presented and read texts specifically penned for the occasion.
