Last week (from June 1-3), we organised a translation workshop in Bucharest.

The participants were:

  • Đura Miočinović, translator from Romanian to Serbian
  • Xenia Zarafu, translator from Romanian to German
  • Aleš Mustar, translator from Romanian to Slovene
  • Peter Groth, translator from Romanian to German
  • Lora Nenkovska, translator from Romanian to Bulgarian

The translators worked on the text Efectele secundare ale vieții by Vlad Zografi. The participants also stayed for the weekend to visit the “Bookfest” Book Fair in Bucharest, which was held from June 1-5.

This is a project of TRADUKI in cooperation with the Romanian Cultural Institute (ICR), the National Museum of Literature, the Association of Romanian Publishers, and Headsome Communications. The first edition of the workshop took place in September 2019, followed by two online workshops in 2020 and 2021.
