Anja Mugerli | Kresnik

Congratulations to Anja Mugerli on winning the Slovenian Kresnik Award for Best Novel of the Year. Pričakovanja was published with Cankarjeva založba in 2023. In autumn 2022, Mugerli was a writer-in-residence in Balzers, Liechtenstein, where she worked on the final draft of the novel and also presented an excerpt at TRADUKI’s “Werkstätten des Flüchtigen” conference.

Previously, Mugerli received the European Union Prize for Literature 2021 for her short story collection “Čebelja družina”.
