In the current Revisiting episode Nikola Madžirov writes about his stay in Sarajevo. We talked with him about his time in the Bosnian capital, Wim Wenders, and the permanence or resilient echo of poetry:

And where do stories spring from? According to Madžirov stories are like undiscovered minerals in mines. Together with his essay we are also publishing his letter to Swiss writer Monique Schwitter on the Revisiting Sarajevo page. Penned in Sarajevo, the letter originally appeared in 2021 in the literary magazine Manuskripte.

We would like to thank Nikola Madžirov as well as the translators Christina Kramer, Alexander Sitzmann and Nenad Vujadinović for participating in the project.
